Apple and Pecan Brussel Sprouts

I brought this recipe into work the other night for dinner.  My coworker and I began sharing our favorite ways to prepare these little baby cabbages (not really, but they sure do look like them!) When I told her about this recipe, she replied “ohh you have the sexy brussels sprouts!”  Sexy brussels sprouts?!?  The only way a brussels sprout could be sexy is if you had George Clooney laying in a pile of them, just maybe they would be sexy.   In fact, I think it is safe to say there is nothing sexy about this veggie, nutritious and delicious yes, but sexy…hell to the no.
